I just created a new "Newsletters" tab (under e-Dictionary) with links to all the past monthly newsletters from April 2015 until May 2016.
I hope some of the content and the links may be useful to you. I'll continue to update this page on a regular basis. In this video clip from "My Fair Lady" Professor Higgins teaches Eliza how to pronounce the "h" correctly. What a curious machine he uses! And what a clever way to do it! Pronouncing "ha, ha, ha" is all there is to it! (Taken from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJr9SSJKkII#t=110. Click the image to watch the video. Enjoy! :-)
The movie My Fair Lady (1964), starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison as Elisa Doolittle and Professor Henry Higgins, was a huge success five decades ago and is a classic.
Here's one of its most famous songs that has all to do with the English language and pronunciation. Enjoy! I do, every time I watch it. :-)
The video embedded below speaks for itself! Enjoy!!! :-)

Rooted incorrect pronunciation can generate incomprehensibility at the worst of times. Take a look at a "humorous" example of a tragic situation - a tragicomedy - where not even the context seems to save the situation. [Taken from slide 11 of my APPI 20015 Conference presentation titled Making a Difference... in Pronunciation.]
The above video was cropped. Here's the original video. I came upon this video by Ed Rondthaler a couple of days ago and thought I should share it with you. Although the title refers to spelling, it totally relates to pronunciation as well. Hope you enjoy it, as I did! :-) The last post of this series is about ideas that caught my attention during the webinars. I hope they may give you food for thought. Speaking for myself, I can say that they've certainly shed more light on different aspects of self-publishing, a subject I've been interested in and exploring for some time.
Today's post is a wrap-up of the advice shared by the speakers for first-time writers. Hope this is useful.
Let's take a look at some ways in which you can monetize your work as suggested by some of the speakers at the Summit.
